I placed my daughter at Discovery Point Dawsonville two months ago after reviewing every facility within 14 miles of my home. The facility is very clean and well organized. The main reason for my decision is the staff. Yasmin, Patti and Miss Kimmi have been amazing. As a single father i was very concerned with leaving my child at a daycare. They all went out of there way to answer my questions, and trust me I had a ton of questions. It now feels like I am taking my child to a relatives home. She loves it!! She runs in and hugs Miss Kimmi and says bye to me with a smile on her face!! That means the world to me as a parent. I spent a month reviewing each daycare facility in the area, and I can say that I made the right decision to take my daughter to Discovery Point Dawsonville.. Discovery Point Dawsonville Our son has been going to Discovery Point in Dawsonville since he was 10 weeks old. Mrs. Annette in the infant room treated him like he was one of her own and was great at helping us as first-time parents get adjusted to daycare life. Mrs. Christy & Ms. Amanda are the "Queens of Potty Training" in my opinion and have done an excellent job with my son. Yasmin, Patti & Lisa do an AMAZING job of running the entire center. All of the staff is EXTREMELY friendly and very good at communicating with the parents. Every single teacher knows my child by name and we are welcomed with a smile every morning as we arrive. It is very obvious to us that these teachers love and care about the children and don't just look at it as a job. I have and will continue to recommend Discovery Point in Dawsonville to anyone looking for childcare. We are so thankful to have such wonderful people taking care of our most precious possession.
